stephengatelyfans.co.uk // keeping Stephen's memory and spirit alive

Welcome...

...to Stephen Gately Fans, my website dedicated to the late singer and actor Stephen Gately, whose short but brilliant life suddenly ended on 10th October 2009 when he passed away from an undiagnosed heart condition.
He was the most kind, gentle, talented and beautiful person, and the world is now a much darker place without him in it. But his memory and spirit will live on in everyone whose lives he ever touched. By keeping this website open as a long lasting tribute to him, I hope to ensure that his legacy lives on and that we never ever forget him.
R.I.P Stephen, 17/3/76 ~ 10/10/09

    Credo

Cast and Crew | Stephen's Role | Clips

Five friends are forced to confront their darkest secrets when they are trapped inside an abandoned building in central London.
For Eden Hall is a place of total dereliction where light is banished and evil now reigns.
It is the hunting ground of a master of deception who plays a deadly game manipulating his victims' deepest fears.
To overcome his tricks, you must discard the credible and put your faith in the impossible.
To survive, you must first dare to believe.

    Stephen's Role

Credo is a supernatural horror story which Stephen filmed in 2006. He stars as Simon, a theology student who attempts to invoke the devil with four fellow students. It has been a long term ambition of his to die in a movie, and he gets this chance in Credo as he gets his throat slashed!

He appears in an 11 minute prologue, which sets the tone of the movie, although this was unfortunately cut to just a brief flashback sequence for the US DVD release. However, an extended DVD edition was released in the UK to much critical acclaim by fans and critics alike on 25th May 2009 - and this does keep the prologue in tact! The DVD also features a couple of extras, most notably an interview with Stephen, where he discusses his thoughts/views/opinions on devils, demons, ghosts and the like! He also mentions the possibility of maybe doing a prequel to the film - which, presumably, would feature more of his character!

You can buy the DVD direct from Alto Films.
